One of
Air France's first duties for its shiny new B707s was on the crucial bridge to its colonial capitals:
Dakar and
Abidjan, which began in September 1960. A handsome broad-side elevation of the airborne quad jet is imprinted on this envelope in Air France blue, under the title "
BOEINGINTERCONTINENTALAIR FRANCE" and "Première Liaison" underneath. Several cancellation stamps provide the same detail.
